Event organiser Chandimal Jayasinghe and model Piumi Hansamali have been arrested by the Fort Police on charges of violating quarantine regulations for organising a birthday party at a five star hotel in Colombo.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said that police had also identified 12 more people who had attended the party. They would also be arrested, he said.
The arrested would be produced before the Hulfsfrops Magistrate Court.
