President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa have offered condolences on the demise of Sri Lankan music legend Sunil Perera.
“A great loss to Sri Lanka’s entertainment industry as veteran musician Sunil Perera passed away. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and the people of Sri Lanka. May his soul rest in peace,” President Gotabaya tweeted.
“The entertainment arena in Sri Lanka will never be the same without you. My deepest condolences to the family and friends of the legendary entertainer Sunil Perera. You will be remembered forever through your music. Rest In Peace,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
Meanwhile, several local sports personalities, musicians, and politicians have also paid tribute to Sunil Perera.
