An individual has been arrested for having defrauded over Rs. 4.1 million from the public promising jobs in Dubai, Oman, and Romania.
The Police stated an investigation had been launched into the financial fraud based on several complaints filed against the suspect.
The man had been arrested in Ekala by the Ja- Ela Police last night (20).
The suspect is a 46-year-old resident of Nivasipura in Ekala. He will be produced before the Welisara Magistrate’s Court today.
