The Sri Lankan Rupee has significantly depreciated against the US Dollar today in comparison to yesterday (01).
According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the Rupee which was seen appreciating over the last week has depreciated today.
The buying rate of the US Dollar today increased from Rs. 283.87 to Rs. 287.42, while the selling rate also increased from Rs. 297.23 to Rs. 300.32.
The Rupee has also significantly depreciated against several other foreign currencies, while it has appreciated against Gulf currencies.
