Sanath Jayasuriya wants young cricketers to learn from Virat Kohli’s on field attitude

Sri Lanka cricket legend Sanath Jayasuriya has requested young Sri Lankan cricketers to learn from Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s enthusiasm, body language and passion shown in the field to win a game for his country.

Speaking to NewsWire, the former cricketer praised Virat Kohli’s attitude and enthusiasm displayed on the field to win a match for his country.

“Virat Kohli is a player who has played nearly 200 or 300 matches for India and has played over a period of 10-15 years scoring over 13,000 ODI runs. But still, he gives his 100% in the field with full energy. That’s what I saw in the last game,” Sanath Jayasuriya pointed out.

“The players’ body language should send out such a message while on the field that we are here to win. These are certain things that even we can learn from him,” the former cricketer said.
