United National Party leader Ranil Wickramasinghe today met Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Harin Fernando at the Nawaloka hospital.
According to sources, the former MP spent nearly an hour with MP Harin Fernando and had discussed the alleged attempts to arrest him.
Speaking to reporters, the former PM revealed that the Government had failed to arrest Harin Fernando over the Easter attacks.
He said therefore, the Government was now attempting to arrest him by filing a case over an issue with the Ministry handled by MP Fernando during the previous regime.
