Chief Epidemiologist of the Ministry of Health Dr. Sudath Samaraweera on Friday made a special request from the Public urging them to restrict movements and public gatherings due to the current COVID situation in the country.
Army Commander General Shavendra Silva today urged the general public to avoid public gatherings and remain at home during this long weekend due to the spike in COVID-19 cases reported in Sri Lanka.
